Ljubodrag Andric’s photographs explore architecture in diverse geographical locations. His subjects have been described as in-between places that are often missed by the casual passerby. While Andric's compositions are minimal in nature, the surfaces he captures are extraordinarily detailed. Concentrating on colour, line and texture, Andric achieves painterly effects that ultimately allow the images to transcend their subject matter.

Ljubodrag Andric was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1965. After almost twenty years living in Rome, he moved to Toronto in 2002. Andric’s work has been exhibited internationally including in major exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Le Locle, Switzerland, the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Venice and the Triennale di Milano.
