• In June 2025, Moses Salihou and Emmanuel Osahor were selected to be part of a group show at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris, co-curated by Catherine Bédard and Joséphine Denis, in collaboration with Black Artists' Networks in Dialogue (BAND) Gallery. The exhibition, titled Autres Territoires, brings together five Canadian artists working in an approach that is both rooted in a sense of belonging to a community, yet liberated from the injunctions of representativeness and fixed representations.

  • “There is a generous, irresistible exuberance in Moses Salihou's paintings and watercolours, but there is also the expression of a deep, existential desire to dialogue with the Western history of art and its classical genres.  As for the gardens painted by Emmanuel Osahor, between abundance and abandonment, places where melancholy emerges with restraint, they open up intimate and protected territories, imbued with a sumptuous gravity.  The cohabitation of Salihou and Osahor’s works, in the context of the Canadian Cultural Centre exhibition, dazzles the public in Paris. It is an immense joy, for me, to witness, day after day, the impact of such a powerful encounter.”
