This December, Nicholas Metivier Gallery is excited to announce Autres Territoires, an exhibition of works by Emmanuel Osahor, Moses Salihou, Marie‑José Gustave, as well as Moridja Kitenge Banza and Michaëlle Sergile, who are both represented by Galerie Hugues Charbonneau in Montreal. Originally presented at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris, France in June 2025. The second iteration of Autres Territoires will be on view at Nicholas Metivier Gallery from December 13th, 2025 through January 17th, 2026, in collaboration with BAND Gallery, the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris, and with Galerie Hugues Charbonneau.
Curated by Catherine Bédard, Curator and Director of Programming at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris, and Joséphine Denis, Director of Curatorial Initiatives at BAND in Toronto, Autres Territoires brings together five Canadian artists of African and Caribbean origin and reimagines territory through lived experience rather than fixed geography.
Please join us for a curatorial tour with Joséphine Denis on Saturday, December 13th, at 1PM at Nicholas Metivier Gallery. RSVP Here.
